Me again...

Okay, I can find the extension easily, but what is the name? Is it staring me in the face?

I'm guessing the name is a four-letter word, but I don't know which one.

Think about the theme.

Starts with "d", right? I don't want to be trying a million extensions on the wrong word...

EDIT: Wait, the file format is a rare one, isn't it... That means none of the words I'm thinking of are right...

EDIT: GOT IT! And just when my sister goes visiting a friend and leaves the Windows computer unoccupied! Perfect...

Hint: if you think you've got the right extension, which is reasonably common after all, just try EVERY key word in the source code. You can't go wrong... ;D

The extension and the name both fit the theme. The extension is common.

---, know what's in [ ], converted the 0s and 1s.
Used [] and numbers to find a symbol.

But nothing to do with that symbol works as a password!

Help?

Nothing's what it seems to be...

First you need to find the right key ;)

Found the key (I'm guessing there's another way to find it besides guessing words to do with that symbol).

But now I have a mass of code that I don't think I have the right program to open. No Photoshop = D:

Will anything else open it?

You made this far in the game, so you probably used a good program twice, at least. I don't have Photoshop either :P ...

Will Fireworks or Paint.NET do the trick? Also, do I have the right format if I'm just using the first thing that appears in the code?

This isn't helping...

GIMP (which I downloaded today) comes up with the same error message, no matter what file-type I change the whatever-it-is into.
Quicktime (I downloaded the latest version today) shows a mess of text if I open the text file, or says it can't read the file if I change it to ---.
Must I go out and buy the latest edition of --- itself, or is there another way to do this? Am I using the right kind of file type?

All I can say is that it has to work. Check your steps once again.

At last! It took me three days to realize that I should have taken the file out PROPERLY, and not just copied the text into Notepad. (Sorry if this is spoily)
The rest was easy - and now I have three brand new programs!

What is "mwoc"??

I know about A******, but don't know how to find it. I tried many different extension and many file-names, but unlucky.

I've read on forum that source has another clue about extension, but I don't know what?

"mwoc" is a hint there in the source code.

filename: the least you search for one is better.

extension: read the posts again (unless you have little knowledge about this kind of files).

Wow.

This level was fun.

Kudos. :D

Edit: Sorry, by "fun", I meant a torturous, mind melting ordeal. Roughly on par with being locked in a small dark room decorated with headless kewpie dolls, filled with the laughter of a maniacal child, where a horde of rats endlessly chew off your bloody toes.

And by "Kudos" I meant - "you heartless bastard"

Okay, here I am!

I have the first password, and I'm now looking for number two. I have translated the binary, and understood the connection between the numbers and []. My problem is that I don't know if I get the right symbol. While one program gives me [?], another gives me ę, and yet another gives me simply 攒. How am I supposed to know which program will give the right symbol?

I'm so confused.. I found the package and the password and now i have two files. One which is unknown and one with some pair of letters. I try to find the right extension for the unknown file but nothing seems to work :(

Instead of searching an extension, maybe try to find a right tool? This way should be easier. ;)
