I read the source, and I put the letter where the other letter was and it lead me to an egg, with two more letters. No clue there. I also noticed that the letter from the source, when added to the letters in the horseshoe make a two word phrase, which is a condition opposite the title of the puzzle. However, none of this leads me to the password. Help?

Ok, i'm lost again. Sort of. Again, I think I found the important part, I just am trying to apply it.

I found the hint pages. In fact, I found ALL of them, which are quite a few more than necessary. I found the correct word to apply the correct hints to, and I understand the instructions that that provides. I just don't understand what to apply those instructions to.

I bet that the "Try" part is once again my problem. I just need to do, there is no try. (Star Wars paraphrase)

A hint to those still trying:

When you get the instructions . . . it says to take an action regarding something.

Remember that this something . . . there is one part of that something that sometimes is and sometimes isn't. Thus if you assume that - in this case - it is, and you follow the directions on that particular part, you won't find the answer. If you assume it is NOT part of that something, thus you don't follow the directions for that part, it is quite possible that you will find the answer.

Wonderfully confusing statement I just made, but if you have found the instructions and understand them, but are not sure what to apply them to, then maybe this clue will help you.
