Finally got this level...for such a simple level this was the one that forced me out of the game for awhile :P .

Tips for future wayfarers:

i. Something's wrong. Make correct,
ii. KISS/intuition is all you need. This is a level without hs, interlocking clues, etc...don't try to do too much, especially if it's not implied anywhere in the level.

Fixed what I needed to fix (although it's not clear if I fixed... too much)... now it's just a matter of making sense of it all.

EDIT: Aaaand nothing.

EDIT: KISS is not doing much for me here. Maybe I have the wrong angles, here...

EDIT: Agh this level is pissing me off. Nothing is making sense. Too many ways to "rotate" things, no clear way to relate the two pics together. "Simple" levels are often the hardest.

EDIT: Unnfaaiiiirrr. Needed more hintage.

Well, after one week (still short period of figuring out, I know, but still nothing and it's still said that the level is simple) I could easily copy Rubix' post, same feelings, observations and steps.

Well, "fixed" them. As whole images and as puzzle pieces. Many many many ...(many) times. Seems like one part is jumping out to the next column, it makes them harder to rewrite in any order. Also it is not indicated anywhere (angles, directions, anything). I'm also looking for any shapes and it gives me nothing. Should it really be with the naked eye??? For now, no add software and no searching, as you all suggested... Nevertheless of course I tried and # meanings gave me a headache, it mustn't be the way. URL changing gives nothing too...

Let's say I was aware of it, but my imagination was always impaired and I felt like a blind.
If something is nothing it couldn't be something in any possible way ;)
thanks for help

Got here, broke 68e in the most inelegant way possible... but stuck again.

It looks like I need to "match" the two pictures together, but then they have to be the same... and then I can only "fix" one of them and i don't really know which one... that's assuming I know what it means to "fix" them, of course.

Regardless, this level seems to have absolutely no clues, nowhere to start, etc, so I don't even know where to begin figuring out what it wants from me... should I be thinking visually somehow?

Both pictures are separate riddles. And yes, think visually.

Oooookaaaay, good to know. I still have no clue about... well, anything. But you have just saved me a whole damn bunch of unnecessary effort of comparisons. Thank you!

EDIT: OK, I joined the Epihellix guys and my automation partly helped one of them to solve the top picture... from there on, we just guessed. Not really fair, though.

EDIT 2: I just took a close look at my before-epihellix results: I actually had the answer to the top picture RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY EYES... I just didn't see. Didn't visualize it correctly.

EDIT 3:

Muzozavr's "Beyond the Rim" Hint Circle: 69

1. Tears you apart, doesn't it? Well, keep working... and don't overlook the answer when you have it.
2. Actually, I have no idea, we just guessed.
