Thanks for "the light is in your left hand" in the source. I started thinking about the darkness being in the right hand and that threw me off for a long time. ;-)

"3's is D" is in the source. but you said earlier "3 is D", so what ? maybe a typo in the source ?
Anyway, i thought about '3' is D, but we have others char, like < and [ .. i'm kinda lost.

And think in XY doesn't mean anything to me, sorry maybe that's because i don't know what it mean in english.

To make it clear - '3' is D. It's an example to the code - you know, what the source is talking about [I cut it out from your post], so try to find those signs there.

What are X and Y? I think you know it. Figure out the X and the Y from the picture and use them on ... you know what

Don't get mad. Please. It's waste of time ;P You have 4 numbers, right? Right. And at left and at right side of every number you have two signs. They're specific.

All of those (numbers + signs) can be found on one device. Think, what can it be? It's so obvious, that maybe you even don't think about it. Where can you find all of those from picture? When you get it - use XY.

Well, i did try the "word" forwards AND backwards and with 1 and i and L and a as the key for the '|' forwards and backwards... nothing worked. -.- I'm stuck. ^^

I think you have the wrong word.
Think of a map. And how a map works.
This is one of the closest hints I can give you without giving it away.
