So I *finally* made it to 45... but not the way I was hoping for.

I had a few possibilities in mind, but couldn't make any of them work. So instead I used them to narrow down my search and then I had to resort to a crossword solver to fill in the missing letters.

Now that I have the letters, I am trying to tie everything together in a logical way and figure out the actual RULES behind the level, and so far I can *almost* do it... I've been following the "v' and turning every which way (edit if too spoily) and it actually WORKS... except for the last letter which doesn't seem to follow the rules that work for the other four. I almost HAD the answer fairly, without the crossword solver, but that last letter threw me way off track for a silly amount of time.

Someone who solved this level, could you please PM me and explain what the HELL(ix) is up with that last letter?!

Still, happy to be on 45, even if this little victory is tainted by an extremely inelegant approach.
