I can't not overthink.
The source text could be useful, if I could understand what it is trying to say - since this level lacks circle.
I got the letters, but overthinking in how to group them and compare.
Ah, and there still a minor chance that the letters are wrong.

the chance that letters are wrong is really minor, if you only applied the source hint in the right way.
how to group them? they group themselves.

The deal is:
I don't understand what the source means, not as a hint, but as confusing text.
The division screws any certainity of which thing belong with other.

Note to next generations: treat all letters as one unified string.

Looks like I've got all the letters on this. They're an odd bunch, little variety & many repetitions. Not quite sure what to do next...
Are all the letters in both strings needed?

Yes they are. And about lack of ideas - you mentioned the key feature of this level, so... just one little step further.

Got it, cool level...dearth of hints on this page, and having solved it I understand why - hard to say something without giving the whole thing away. The best I can do is...KISS, paper and pen will be sufficient.

Pretty neat -- and in the Epihellix team I was the one to solve it! YEAAAHH!!
EDIT:
Muzozavr's "Beyond the Rim" Hint Circle: 70
A and B are useless, so don't bother... what about C? So many lines, so little sense...
... just flip it, will you? get the letters and read them...
... and what an odd bunch of letters they are, many repetitions.
Repetitions.
Repetitions, repetitions.
Repetitions, repetitions, repetitions...
