For me, the symbols suggest to turn the image into multiple layers and do things with them like flip them around. I'm doing that and I'm seeing glimmers of painted text in the image, but I cant make out any kind of word.

Am I totally overthinking again?! AM I SEEING TEXT WHERE THERE IS NONE?! (I'm going insane)

Sorry if that's spoily, I only typed it because I get the feeling I'm totally doing the wrong thing.

Any more help available to poor people like myself who look at the symbols with near-total lack of recognition? I mean, I could guess at what one or two of them could refer to but I have no idea what context includes them all.... and the source hint isn't striking any bells for me, unless there is some other, more subtle hint than the one I'm looking at.

Edit 1: Wait a minute, power of posting flows through my veins... I think I've found a place that is home to most of these symbols... now trying to figure out the way to get letters and being uncertain about the second last symbol....

Edit 2: Alright, I found the right place for sure, and I've found how to get the letters. What I'm getting now is either one letter followed by a word, or two letters (which don't look like a word to me) followed by a word. In the latter case, that last word produces a hint screen, but what that hint screen says leaves me unsure whether it was confirming or denying that I'm on the right track. Confounding!

I must be missing the last bit, the key to reaching a final answer. I believe I recognize the last symbol and its connotation. However, I don't see the significance of it being the last symbol, so I guess I need to think about it more or look for it elsewhere?

EDIT: OK, thanks to Tynka I've found out there was one more symbol in the beginning (superimposing them on one another was evil) and decoded it as well... I've got a phrase and it makes sense... together with the obvious written word, now I have *three* words.

But what to do with them...

The first symbol's shape does not match exactly. What you think is the first symbol... it's really two symbols, but without a space between them. It's hard to notice the first one. You've probably guessed the second symbol correctly. I'll PM you, it's too hard to actually see... if not for Tynka, I'd be stuck here FOREVER... well, I'm still stuck, since I have no clue what to do with the last symbol and how to apply it to what I have... but still...

Yes, it helps alot if you know what it means here. But I solved it using the first 6 and methods we always use, then later figured out what it was supposed to mean. I'll PM you

For others: don't overthink on that last symbol... it just tells you WHERE to use the words you have...

Once you decode the first six, just keep KISSing this level as hard as you can. I can't believe that THIS took me forever.

I'm embarrassed to say, but I'm stuck on this level and have been for months!

I have 2 words from the symbols, and I understand what the final symbol IS, but not what it MEANS. People keep saying it instructs you what to do with the words, but I don't know what this means!

I finally got past this.

For anyone still struggling: the last symbol is actually quite misleading. Perhaps it should have been a camera symbol instead.

Symbolsss..... There are too many of... symbols....
Can't find 100% match. I can't go further because I can't identify symbols.
I see some connections to OS... But I find nothing. My head hurts...
Edit: Found the place - it's matching. Named the symbols, but only the first word seems understandable... Hymm...
Edit: I tried another method, I have two words. I hope the right words. Trying to understand last step. Source sounds like cheap chinese proverb.
