So I read on Beezqp's deviantart account (I am a stalker, yes) that he was upset with the final season of LOST... why is this? I thought that although the ending was weird, it made sense and ended well. NOT a 'disaster...'

http://blog.collegehumor....wered-questions

I was watching this show hoping that in the end everything will make sense, that every thing, every mystery had its place and works great. I was waiting for the moment after the show finale when I could watch all episodes once again and see the meaning of everything. But that didn't happen. 3/4 of the show turned out to have no sense at all. The list of unanswered question on College Humour is huge but I have even more... This really sucks. They wasted the whole story... And in addition: sci fi is okay but fantasy is even more gay than hypothetical child of Justin Bieber and Bill Kaulitz.

Ah. Watching that video made me depressed... :( I almost have no reply to that...

I still loved the show, these unanswered questions don't ruin the fact that the story AS A WHOLE was very well-written. Are there any LOST easter eggs in IH? If not then it should be a bonus level. :P

I felt in love with Lost after the Hellix was created. I was thinking of using, for example, number theme in IH but, as we know, numbers had no sense in Lost so why bother [I mean, oh yeah, they had sense, cause "Jacob had the thing for numbers" - that was the stupidest answer to anything in Lost]

I can only agree with what was said.
There was a lot of potential for the story and then we got the magical/pseudo-spiritual plot patch up.
I never expected an answer to the numbers unless it was inside a final plot twist, so answering things like that, in a cheap shot, end killing all the story flow.
That and all the things introduced into the story out of nowhere and without a intended destiny in the plot.

capn - have you watched the Lost epilogue - "New man in charge"? I got annoyed - in 12 minutes they were able to present more answers than in whole series finale. I don't get them... I lost my interesting in Lost after FATAL 6th season but this was nice experience to see some scenes with old faces. I wish they produced more things like this one, presenting some answers, some parts of story that has never been told... But I'm afraid this is not going to happen. Well, R.I.P, Lost. Guess the time of yours is over for good...

I don't see where being nice applies here. Well, whatever.
On topic: I wanted to know which excuse would be given to explain that cabin/ash nonsense.

Good point, I never really understood this. MiB was trapped so something must have happened that this guy could be released. But what and when? And another thing - the history of the Island [map in the hatch, Ben's bullshit talk etc.] seems that smoke monster was always free [and wasn't it?' so why all this about the cabin containment...

Yeah, the cabin was weird.

I saw the epilogue... but didn't like it too much. I thought the finale was better. But I think I know why you and I don't see eye-to-eye sometimes, Beez -- because you're a man of science. Me, well, I'm a man of faith. Do you really think all this is an accident -- that we, two strangers met on this forum -- especially, this forum? We were brought here for a purpose, for a reason, both of us. Each one of us was brought here for a reason. The Riddle brought us here. This is no ordinary place, you've seen that, I know you have. But the Riddle chose you, too, Beezqp. It's destiny.

Nope. I created the Riddle. And all of YOU were brought here for a reason [to praise me and give me eternal life]. But I always was here, from the beginning of things. I am the creator. The one behind the light, beyond imagination. The one you will never know or never understand because those damn producers haven't said a WORD about any of these holy-light magic-wine super-mother NONSENSE BS. WHYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME!!!!!!!!
