Can I have another hint to find, then?
Am I looking in wrong place with right name or right place with wrong name?
(Currently looking in level folder with same pic name)

No, I have honestly never used it
Now seems like a good time to start.
EDIT: okay, found third pic, but... I think the "feature" really is gone. Also, is red pic supposed to be broken at the bottom?
EDIT 2: Pics combined, now what?
(PS: my title is now "Follow the leader..." How appropriate.)

now...+1...and things in the source that won't play nice with other things I already have.
edit: and found...remade...what is this i don't even
Edit: never mind, got it - note to the next; Photoshop fails at the second part. (still works for first one though). Use another program that has functions that can do it for you instead, instead of manually doing it with Photoshop.
GIMP works, apparently.
For the first part - once you've got the picture, obey something - instructions are given clearly, you just need to know that it is an instruction
for the second part - once you've got the picture, the colours will be clear. Not dark and muddled, if you've got that, you're doing what I was doing and it's wrong - try again. Then, just pay careful attention. And obey.
Or, if you are still unable to do it through graphic manipulation - it is solvable simply by research and "visualization" as well. Tougher, but doable

photoshop still works, but with it you shouldn't do it in... straight way...
do it with GIMP method

The second part cant be done via Photoshop? I did it using CS5, found the secret message already. Just wondering if there's something else needed since the secret message doesnt give me any headway.
