Riddle Hellp - Level 76

who first
Tynka - 2014-01-07, 07:51
:
don't know :P

part a - solved
part b - has to wait a while ;)
maniac - 2014-01-07, 13:39
:
Does both screens form a single "part a" or they can be treated differently?
Beezqp - 2014-01-07, 14:09
:
I am glad you ask.

Both is part a
maniac - 2014-01-07, 14:12
:
I'm glad you answered

There's an apparent rule for all known clocks except one :(

There's also a change in detail between the pics, which stands out for me. Is it important?
Beezqp - 2014-01-07, 14:45
:
yes
Tynka - 2014-01-07, 17:54
:
partb: i checked many possibilities and still see too many ;)

so my question is:
part b can be solved separately? may i forget about part a for now?
Beezqp - 2014-01-07, 20:15
:
for now yes
Strati - 2014-01-08, 17:44
:
Ok, my turn:

I have to use all 4 screens from part b at once to form an answer?
Tynka - 2014-01-08, 17:46
:
temp end finally
it wasn't easy for sure :P

and it was hard for me to use only useful hints and discard not necessary info

@strati - you need all screens from part b, but using them all at once was my biggest mistake here ;)
maniac - 2014-01-09, 13:52

:bunny: :bunny: :bunny:
at last :D

some hint:

for the first part: "Tynka solved it in 90 seconds", perhaps you can also.
for the second part: previous hints are good enough. Things are very clear :P
Beezqp - 2014-01-09, 15:12
:
i am surprised you did not post anything about the third part.
bna - 2014-01-09, 18:03
:
Must be getting close on part 2. Found two hs, or I should say discouragement screens so far. :P

EDIT: and out ... took 24 hours so I am sure it took Tynka only 90 seconds.

Are there 5 solvers yet? I am ready for more.

i was quick on the first part only
the second one took me more than one day :P

bna wrote:

not yet... you are third i think
Strati - 2014-01-10, 01:10
:
I'm the only one stuck on the 3rd part.
That's probably the leap of logic I usually can't make.

I know there is something from part A I didn't use yet, but I have no idea how I can find a connection between shades and trees.
bna - 2014-01-10, 01:31
:
Thank you Tynka.

Strati, I commiserate. Beezqp's last parts always kill me. Just when I think, "Finally, I have solved the level", there is one last little twist.
Strati - 2014-01-10, 21:11
:
Ok, 1 solver left.

Actually, I wasn't stuck at the third part, but at the inbetween step after you solve the digital numbers.

6th Cawulla / 7th Queen.........................   Go Team Darkside
Rubix - 2014-05-03, 17:35
:
As usual, the obvious thing doesn't work...
Tynka - 2014-05-03, 18:07
:
really?
MrRubix level was my first thought and inspiration here ;)
Rubix - 2014-05-03, 18:18
:
I tried the overlay trick from old 82 indeed!

EDIT:

I think maybe I have accidentally gone from Level 75 to Level 76 part B (I have four screens with different digital clock pieces filled out).

(I assumed 75 was very similar to a particular level from Zest so I tried something and it worked)... I need to go back and solve it correctly.

EDIT:

But based on your comment I can pretty much guess what Part A involves. XD
Tynka - 2014-05-03, 19:43
:
lol, yes, you should solve 75 correctly
jumping may backfire on you later
Rubix - 2014-05-10, 05:10
:
Alright, finally made it to 76A properly this time.

EDIT: Solved PartA (correctly)... back to PartB which makes no sense to me. XD

EDIT: "whatever..."

EDIT: "You are totally not getting this, are you..."

EDIT: (Almost) blank hint screen... absolutely no idea...

Did I solve the riddle?
paFci0 - 2014-05-10, 09:52
:
Did you get to the:

Quote:

Come back later...
There will be a level here some day...

:?:

The message is quite clear, isn't it?
Rubix - 2014-05-11, 04:15
:
Yeah I wasn't there yet. XD

But I did make it to Part 3! Surprisingly simple approach in the end. I was definitely overthinking.

EDIT: Errr... tempend! Spoke WAY too soon!
Muzozavr - 2017-10-01, 18:57
:
Part A...

On both of the pictures, some of the arrows are pointing not directly at specific numbers, but between them, which makes figuring out possibilities a lot more difficult.

Obviously, the two pictures just beg for a comparison, but no fruitful results so far. Are the numbers actually relevant?

someguy - 2017-11-23, 17:20
:
it feels so good to be on the last level (for now?) in Hell.

finally sat down to do 76A and it took me just a couple minutes, LOL
onto 76B, lots of stuff here...

[ Added: 2017-12-21, 23:18 ]
76b: That last step was really fun. :P
76c: Way to go!

Epihellix enters tempend, omg!
lla26 - 2017-12-22, 07:40
:
LOL, 76A is only easy because you recognize puzzles like it in some other riddles.
Figured out most of 76B by myself, then got the last step with help from someguy.

“Beyond The Rim” Hint Circle: 76

Two halves to a whole...

Some pages: some guides, some pieces...
...To find keywords but one...
The final keyword is everywhere...
Once all are retrieved, find their ‘similarity...’

...And just stare...

puzzle - 2018-04-06, 21:55
:
Can anyone provide me a hint for part b? These "=" hints are omnious, a. e. I see no 7 after saving, making lines more visible and mashing any of these four together, and there's no indicator how should I mess with these (trial and error on various configurations gave me no outcome so far). Fourth is special due to page name, noticed that, but that's all. Pictures' names are either irrelevant or super mystical, I can't think of any other possibility.

the only thing I got out of connecting two pictures (why these two - dunno, trial and error) gave me something what translates to four-letter string, which seems like a part of a longer word:
s**m

Picture names hint at which images are needed. And the texts below two of the images help. Figure out their relationships. Each has its own rules.

Ok, I'm gonna ignore some of these and focus on one at a time

edit: does the fact that images with equation hints share blacked out/blank parts have any meaning?

16th? Hard to tell when not everyone announces their arrival.

Anyway, I've finally completed every existing level! And it only took me... 11 years...

Thanks again for the great riddle!
