is it possible to PM someone what I am doing so they might lead me in the right direction? |

Oh, and thank you for making this riddle! It's great, except for the really hard parts, like this level! |

I understand that this riddle has been checked over and over, but at this point I'll bet that it hasn't been 'checked' by anyone who isn't part of the development team |

Earlier, Uncle Drak in this thread said that "the last step is gay". I have to agree. |

can someone please give a straight answer to me in PM or, preferably, here in the thread |

Have you found the connection among "ThE ***", numbers and the key? If you did, just use it in the right place. Where keys are commonly used, where you haven't used anything yet (you're still locked, remember? ) |

Is there something I'm not seeing here that can only be seen with further editing of the picture? Because all I see is a bunch of random symbols and a staircase (or is that two staircases?). |

you need to DO something with the picture before you see the answer. |

Does my keyboard play any part in solving this part of the level? |

And also, am I supposed to have found TP before this? |

I think this is the key I have here...I'm not sure what to do with it though. Shall I form words? |
Brushstroke wrote: |
And I keep reading all this about "TP" and I have found no such thing as of yet. Did I miss something? |
Brushstroke wrote: |
Hm. I have TP now, but I'm not sure what to do with it. And the T and the E in the word "the" were underlined in part of this message here, so I've copied that down |

Also, I have this xxxyyyyy.xxx clue, but how do I apply this? |

I also had problems with xxxyyyyy.xxx in this part of level, but it turned out, that we already used it in previous step so we don't need it now) |

Well, this thread have about 5 pages of "vague" and you still haven't solved the riddle. |

Thanks for the advice. You've helped me pinpoint what I need to do, but I'm still stuck.
Yes, I found the connection between the numbers, ThE***, and the key. I'm assuming the 4 numbers is the thing people are calling "the map". Unfortunately, I have already used the map on the text "where keys are commonly used" in many different ways, and the results just seemed to be nonsense random letters. I could post or PM the results of this exercise, but it would just look like a two-year-old or a cat had just bashed the keyboard! [edit] Finally, I solved it! I just want to say a big thanks to Tynka, Beezqp, and pennylane for all their help in thread and PM. Here's my say for newer players that jump into this bear-trap of a level: 1. Be patient. I spent three days on this, and I'm told that the worst is yet to come. This is the last level in Chapter I, which I'm guessing is why it's so tough! Chapter II's different style looks amazing and is definately worth the wait/work! 2. Have some graphics software at the ready. No... better than windows paint! You will need something like GIMP (as recommended in the game description) or Paint.NET (the one I used), both are free. You won't need to do anything very advanced. You might even be able to get by without any graphics software on this level, but it helps. A lot. 3. Once you've got "TP" and the numerical code, they are not "the map". They help you find it. To save you the irritating hours I lost, I will say that at no point does the 4-digit numerical sequence ever repeat. If you're getting long strings of nonsense letters, then you are doing totally the wrong thing, and so doing it slightly differently will be a big waste of your time. Just spot the relation between "TP" and the code, then use that relation to understand the key, then obviously use the key to understand the door. I hope that doesn't spoil it too much. Good luck to the newer players, and thanks again to the older players! |

I'm on what I believe is the last part of this level. I have TP and ThE... I also have the #'s. When I connect the #'s with ThE, I get ****... But that doesn't seem to help. Anybody want to put me in the right direction, or give a little clue? |

there is no way it can't... |

Okay, um getting past the first picture was easy, and now I'm on the HS (?) with all those letters, i've noticed a pattern, I think, but should I be doing something to those letters, maybe something involving mirrors?
edit: wow, I feel stupid now, just had to do it like I would in a newspaper. Found what is obviously ---, now what... edit: the power of posting exists, it's true. I found TP, and how the #s relate to T***** i've used it on a couple of things and mostly ended up with long strings of gibberish, apart from a two word suggestion? Am I on the right track now? |

Now on to 14.. This one will be tough as well I think. |

i hope i will find the last step...al those numbers and letters that does not make any sense to me...I noticed that the key has something inportant in it, and i know that is not by accident..and i started to mark those letters with numbers and started to applaying them all around the place..al i got is F***....and that is about it...am i suppose to applay them somewhere else or should i stick to my guts...maybe i'll sleep on it |

IIRC, if you're on three dots, you have not found TP yet.
You have probably tried something very obvious with the letters=letters hint already, but got 404. That's because you didn't use the other hint you've mentioned. It tells you what not to change. (idk, maybe this is almost too clear, but it's difficult to hint that part, it really is kinda obvious) |

Hi, everybody. I'm currently stuck at the block of text. I used pixlr (only because I don't have mspaint on my chromebook) to 'do stuff' to the original image, and found the word it gave me, and that's all so far. I can't figure out what between the lines or go downstairs means or how to staircase-ify the block of text, And I think I'm doing something wrong. Can I get some help other than the ten pages of "Read between the lines" and "go downstairs" Because that doesn't help me at all. |

Hi,
I found that TP that everyone here is talking about. And the source for TP. I tried something that relates key and TP, but I can't seem to progress more. I would like to ask some help. Thanks! |
